As a result, Ghana has made significant strides in infrastructure development in comparison to other countries. However, in the rural areas, particularly in northern Ghana, disease, illiteracy, and poverty are significant challenges. About half of the workforce is engaged in agricultural jobs, yet nearly 80% of Ghana’s people survive on less than two dollars per day.
