The AIC Women’s Training Center in Sudan has provided services to assist women since its establishment in 1992. Its objectives remain to carry out Bible study; make visits to various hospitals, prisons, and poor disabled people; have monthly prayers; do annual fasting; conduct seminars, workshops and training.
Progress on these objectives have slowed since Sudan split into two countries. The center concentrates on training while the spiritual aspect is mainly carried out in the few remaining churches. Last year, the center met its target of providing two courses per year. These two courses took until January of this year due to delay in funds because funds weren’t allowed into the country due to the present situation in Sudan. All in all, 87 trainees registered.
