Touching Lives in the Himalayan Foothills

The following snippets are just a few of the ways Reaching Himalayas Center has been able to help needy people this season. We say Thank You, for we could not do this without your financial and prayerful support.

We Celebrated Christmas with orphan children last December.

In the foothills of a Mountain, our ministry blessed 17 orphans with new jackets and new shoes, something they likely never had before. We were able to bless the pastor and his family, as well. These orphans fully felt our love and care; they are growing in the Lord. It was our joy to be able to bless them.

NPRH Dec 2019 update

Christmas Evangelistic Program Reaches Buddhists. This year’s financial shortage limited us to we were limited in the number of Buddhists we could invite to our Christmas evangelistic program on December 25. One top Buddhist leader was among the 57 Buddhists in attendance. In addition, we invited 46 widows, making a total of 103 people.

The widows were blessed to receive a small monetary gift. What is small to us is significant to them!

We praise God that 57 Buddhists heard a clear Gospel presentation as we shared the true meaning of Christmas directly.

Women learn sewing as a vocational skill. We were able to start the training for 10 women in a remote region. The training runs from December 2019 to March 2020.

Thank you so much for the work you do helping to bless these orphans, widows, and Buddhists! I am sure that the orphans were very happy to receive the jackets and shoes. It was unfortunate that we could not meet when I visited in 2018. I plan to visit again in 2022 so hopefully, we will be able to meet then.
