In February 2016, my job at Partners International began. My main responsibility is to connect with and strengthen our relationship with donor churches and equip them in any way I can. I love working with churches. For over 16 years I was on staff at a church in Spokane as the Worship Ministry Director. I was on the Mission Leadership Team and was the Staff point of contact for all mission inquiries and decisions, working in conjunction with the mission chair and Elder Board. Here at Partners, I love being part of a ministry team that is intentional and creative about reaching the world’s least reached people groups. I love that we learn alongside our ministry partners and do not present ourselves as the “Westerners with all the answers.” I took classes at Moody Bible Institute in Spokane and pre-business classes at Spokane Falls Community College. In a Perspectives course, I gained a greater understanding of and love for missions. A few other training courses I took that probably help to equip me for my role here are Soul Care course through Genesis Institute, and my certification as a “Lay Listener” through Steven Ministry. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our adult children. I’m so excited that I am a Grandmother. I also love to serve on the worship team at church, play the piano, take walks, and garden.
