Kamesh Sankaran is a Professor of Physics at Whitworth University, where he has served since 2004. He earned his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and Plasma Science & Technology from Princeton University. His expertise is in advanced propulsion systems for spacecraft. In addition to teaching physics and engineering, he also teaches in the Worldview Studies Program at Whitworth. Kamesh has served on the Partners International Board since 2010, and he was recently appointed Board Chairman in October 2016. Kamesh serves as an elder of his local church, where he has taught the Bible for adult Sunday schools for over a decade and also has served as the head of its global missions program. He grew up in India and moved to the U.S. as a college student. Kamesh is married to Angela, who grew up as a daughter and grand-daughter of missionaries in Ecuador.
