Taking New Life to Cambodia’s Most Remote Regions

Church planters travel over all kinds of terrain to reach remote villages and share about Jesus.

We are so grateful for our partners’ support through prayer and finances. Your help enabled us to train and send our 48 church planters to preach and plant new churches, to make disciples, and encourage existing fellowships, even in the remote areas of Cambodia.

Last year, our church planters and their teams working in the many provinces saw 1,659 people come to faith in the Savior. Most of them were from the Buddhist faith (1,622) while 20 were Animists and 17 were Hindus. This resulted in the start of 30 new small groups and nine new house churches.

These results were due in part to the multiplied trainings in different regions. Our leaders held 46 more short-term trainings in their provinces than in previous years. Subjects taught included evangelism, leadership roles, pastoring, and basics of faith. One of our ministry goals is that the training should be passed on to as many people as possible in each region.

Some of the church planters were accused of “treason of religion” from people in their communities, but still, they stood strong in their faith and service for the Lord Jesus.
