Story of a refugee woman

Refugee-woman
Syrian refugee, in the process of discipleship.

About 4 years ago I started a relationship with some foreigners who visited me every week. At first I did not understand why they cared for my family. Little by little we became friends and they taught me that God is love. This was new to me.

I did not know that God heard me; I spent my whole life believing that I was condemned to hell because I was born a woman. You see, in Islam, women do not have the right or access to paradise, only some virgins do for the pleasure of men. What I learned is that He not only hears me, He accepts me. I can go to heaven! You taught me to pray and I speak to Him every day.
