Our vision is to see Tibetans transformed Spiritually, Socially and Economically through the Word and good deeds to glorify God.
To accomplish our vision, we do Engage in influential people’s lives through social works, food, fellowship, gifts, and share the Gospel. We equip the new believers and empower them to get involved in making disciples in the Himalayas. We work among the Tibetans in the Himalayas.
We have mainly three ministries:
- Reaching Himalayas Fellowship – Spiritual work
- Reaching Himalayas Center – Social work
- Barnabas Trek – Business trek to get income for Tibetans orphans and neglected aged widows.
We had excellent women training on March 1-2, 2019, in Himalayas Fellowship. The RHC leader does weekly couple teaching as well, which has been minimizing the couple’s problems as well in Tibetan Evangelical Churches.
Tibetan Evangelical Alliance AGM & Conference on April 1-3, 2019
Tibetan Evangelical Alliance AGM and conference was held on April 1-3, 2019 in Nepal where 13 ethnic groups participated actively and become a member of the TEA. It was for personal renewal and leadership development conference where Rev. S was the main speaker. We praise God for the successful conference.
District Youth Camp on April 23-25, 2019
April 23-25, we had a district youth care camp where most of them brought their non-Christian friends. It was the most beautiful and bettering lives of youth camp so far. There were so many games from which lessons are learned. At the end of the day, nine people who came with their Christian friends accepted the Lord Jesus and five youth who have been attending the church but never knew what is to follow Jesus. A total of 14 youth dedicated their lives to Jesus. I praise God for the Baptist church’s youth from India who is really used by the Lord. From this church, a sister name Ms. I committed her life to be a teacher in Lingam Mission School.
Barnabas Trek 2019
Barnabas Trek offers the opportunity for foreign friends to experience life in the Himalayas while making an impact for good. Guided treks utilize trekking routes and destinations, usually where we do our ministry. It is a great privilege for those who join us. Other trekking agencies don’t ofter anything like this.
