First, we thank God for providing through you to the ministry during this transition. Your prayer and support humble us during this season of unprecedented worldwide turmoil. Thanks to your faithfulness, we have been able to support more of God’s work around the world, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. From delivering food packages in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, to embedding doctors in church planting teams in Indonesia, we are providing appropriate and timely relief, and care, as the Holy Spirit directs us.
God continues to move in great power, and we are grateful for your commitment to our Mission, Vision, and—most importantly—to our Ministry Partners who serve the Lord in the least reached places. Our ministry is continuing even with the risk of infection to our Ministry Partners. Please pray for their health/safety and that the Gospel will be spread far beyond where it might have gone before this crisis.
We are also working with churches around the U.S. to help educate and encourage those who may be awakened to consider the world’s needs—especially the ultimate need for Jesus—for the first time. We want to be a resource to connect you and your local church to the great work of God as He builds His Church where the name of Jesus Christ is not yet known.
Thank you for your continued prayers as we search for the next CEO. God has answered your prayers and has provided us a large pool of highly-qualified candidates who have applied for this position. Meanwhile, God has also blessed our outgoing CEO, Larry Andrews, with an exciting new position. Please hear about it from him:
“As I have considered the next season of my walk with the Lord, I had been praying about opportunities to best serve faith-based non-profits and businesses. The Lord has opened the door to serve as a Principal at OneAccord (www.oneaccord.co). My passion is to serve faith-based organizations to effectively execute the strategy required to maximize their God-given vision and bring value that lasts. I am very thankful to join the OneAccord team over the summer.“
We are thankful Larry is committed to finishing his tenure well, and we pray God’s best for him in his future endeavors. Meanwhile, we are accelerating the interviewing process for prospective candidates in the next few weeks. Please pray that God will guide the Board as we begin the interviewing process. Our goal is to bring in this new leader this summer, and your prayer support is critical to that outcome. We also have an interim leadership plan to be implemented, if needed, to ensure operational continuity during this time of crisis.
It is important in these trying times that we do not lose sight of God’s sovereignty over all we do. Please continue to keep Partners International in your prayers. We would love for you to join our monthly video prayer meetings to seek God’s will on behalf of our world, the pandemic, and our ministry.
We believe that God is preparing someone who will help set the tone for building the Church in the least reached places for many years to come. We will keep you informed. We look forward to continuing to build His Kingdom together with you.
