The refugee families we serve are generally very conservative. They know that we are Christians and even pray with us in the name of Jesus, but it is very difficult for them to go a step further because of the condition of the pressures of the environment. Yet, they themselves testify of how Christians help them, while Muslims do nothing for them. They say that we are their family in these lands, both in health and in sickness.
Recently, a woman died of cancer, after accompanying her all night. We took her to more than five hospitals looking for one that would receive her in the emergency room and intensive care. The people in the community are thankful that we cared and took the time to help in that situation.
Thanks for your prayer and support of this ministry. Please continue to pray for deeper relationships with those in the refugee communities.
