Born in 1984 to a Muslim family, Obed converted from Islam as a teenager. His father couldn’t get him to recant so he poisoned his food. God spared Obed’s life and he fled home. In 2002 Obed joined Christian Outreach Fellowship, was discipled and learned screen printing and other art skills. Combining his art business with ministry, Obed cares for his mother (now divorced for “bearing a shameful son”). So far Obed has planted seven churches among the Birifor people with over 300 believers.
