Issa was born January 26, 1966 in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. His Muslim parents migrated from neighboring Togo to trade and farm. In 1984, Issa converted from Islam and dedicated his life to Christ. With Christian Outreach Fellowship, Issa plants churches among Muslims and the medley of Northern tribes living in Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo Region’s capital which has a growing Muslim population. He and his wife Josephine have a grown son, a college-age son, and an 18-year-old daughter.
