Brother C* has four children. Several years ago, he graduated from the Migrant Workers’ Bible Training School. After a few years of wandering around the country, he moved back to his hometown to start a small church, which now has eight members.
The city that he moved to is one where many families move when looking for work. They are poor families. Parents in these families would never be able to afford a luxury like piano lessons for their children. With our assistance, Brother C* started this small community center in a rented apartment.
Parents are now able to pay fifteen US dollars for one month of piano lessons for their children. Really poor families are able to get a discount of just eight dollars. This service is far cheaper than any other location in the city. Now they have seventeen children coming in regularly for piano classes. The parents in our community appreciate what we are providing for their children.
“I taught the story of Creation to two girls from non-Christian families, and they were very interested. I need wisdom and good a good method of communication if I am to continue teaching them. All of the kids are learning piano happily. Some can play simple melodies now, and some are ready to take a more advanced course.”
Please keep our ministry in your prayers!
- Pray for us as we continue to explore community development through this piano classroom and library
- Pray that God would use the library to open the children’s mind to the Truth.
- Pray that God would provide for Brother C’s* family and bless his four children to grow in their faith.
