One More Glorifying the Lord

Darma* is currently a security chief on the West side of Java. Before getting this position, he was able to get a good education and then spent some time in the Indonesian army.

One of our Church Planters, Cahyono*, had the pleasure of meeting Darma. Even front their initial interaction, Darma was very open to the story of Jesus Christ. By their second meeting, Darma was increasingly convinced to believe that Jesus Christ was the only way to salvation.

Cahyono was very grateful to have met with Darma since he was quick to understand the story of Isa Almasih (Jesus the Messiah).

Darma’s life hadn’t reflected the teachings of Christ because his family never knew about Christ before. He used to use charms he believed would bring good luck. After learning about Jesus Christ, he decided to burn all the idols he had and start a new life with Christ.

His conversion was marked by being baptized on January 17th. When he came out of the water, he felt that there was a burden that was released from his body. He was delighted that God allowed him to meet Cahyono and experience repentance.

Darma is eager to reach out to his wife, children, and relatives to get to know Jesus Christ. He realized that his belief in the occult and mystical matters is worthless.

Praise God, for one more person, is believing in Jesus Christ, the name of the Lord is more glorified.

One of our Church Planting team’s is discipling Darma so that in the future, he can be a witness to the greatness of God in his home and at work as the head of security.
