Camp Adonai’s Heart for Youth
Eighteen years ago in the heart of Central Asia, a group of pastors yearned to see the Body of Christ growing and multiplying. They came together to form Camp Adonai in an effort to bring Jesus into the homes and hearts of children and youth including orphans, vulnerable, poor and disabled. Camp Adonai works in close partnership with more than 25 churches in their area and has gained a reputation as reliable and trustworthy.
Next month (August), Camp Adonai is bringing together 300 youth for fun, fellowship and ministry! Believers from business, sports, media, education, and medicine have been invited to share their testimonies with the prayer that the youth can see how they could live a successful life with Jesus at the center.
Jahangir* comes from a family who does not follow Jesus. He shares his story from last year’s camp.
Hello, my name is Jahangir and I am 13 years old. Before camp, I was thinking that I have time to decide about following Him. I wanted to live for myself and maybe in the future I will return to God. But, in reality, I have no time. I now follow Jesus fully. I have decided I don’t want to waste any more time. I will no longer be shy or afraid. I want to share about Jesus with everyone.
Since 2009, Partners International has come alongside Camp Adonai and their vision to see the next generation grow strong in Jesus Christ and take the good news to Central Asia. Will you prayerfully consider helping to send one or two of the 300 campers to Camp Adonai Youth Camp in August 2018? Other campers like Jahangir are at a crucial crossroads in their life. Any amount will help.
