Latest Update on the CEO Transition

I thank God for providing through your prayers and your sacrificial generosity to support the ministry during this transition. As we look back at the previous year of ministry, we are grateful to have supported more of God’s work around the world than we anticipated and, therefore, finished the year strong. Together we are also able to move quickly when needs arise and the Holy Spirit directs us—such as recently sending medical supplies to a hospital in China to respond to the Coronavirus crisis.

I am grateful for your vote of confidence in PI’s Mission and Vision—and, even more, in our Ministry Partners’ work in the least reached places. I assure you that this foundation of our ministry will remain a critical part of our DNA as we search for a leader to direct the future of the ministry.

We have begun the search process for the next CEO with prayer. We want to have the same attitude of Moses (Exo. 33:15-16) that the presence of God is more important than the provision of God. So, we desire to engage in this important work by keeping our sight on God’s sovereignty. Please continue to keep all of us – our current CEO Larry Andrews, the staff, and the Board – in your prayers. If possible, I would also love for you to join us at our monthly video prayer meetings to seek God’s will on behalf of our ministry.

Please pray specifically for God to guide the Board and the search firm we’ve hired as we contact Ministry Partners, church partners, and missional leaders to help us in this effort and lead us to the right person. Our goal is to bring in this new leader in early summer. Your prayer support is critical in helping to meet this goal.

We strongly believe that God is preparing someone who will help set the tone for ministry among least reached people groups for years to come. We look forward to continuing to build His Kingdom together with you and our Ministry Partners.

Would love to receive your prayer list regarding the CEO search. I probably won’t be able to join the monthly video conference call for prayer, but if you have a list of the prayer requests for that month I would love to receive it. Thank you!
