We praise and thank the Lord for the ministry work that is being accomplished on our mission fields in six Northeastern states in India. God is opening doors for us to reach the unreached villages all over the area.
The recent natural calamity in the form of excessive rains that resulted in floods did not deter our field workers from visiting the people in remote villages. They did not have proper transport facilities, but the visits were important to our ministry and those we seek to serve, so we visited despite the logistical setback. Many people in these villages have expressed interest in leaning more about Jesus and His life. Gradually they are becoming convinced that he can positively transform their lives. A few people that we have been meeting with have now come forward to prepare for their baptism.
The unrest in several of these areas also causes difficulties for our field workers who visit our ministries. Again, in spite of the setback, they are venturing out to visit the villages and to preach the Gospel. Please pray for God’s strength and confidence to reach the many people who are perishing without coming to know the living God.
