We still proclaim His name. Our hope to reach people as a whole who are going through great difficulties.
We have produced three Songs of Praise and Worship albums in the Berber language, Kabylia, and they released at the end of 2019. We have made progress recording up to 1st Chronicle of the Old Testament, we also have the Psalms available with a musical background.
Our radio station in Kabylia initially aired in early September 2019.
The equipment was purchased, and the studio ready for launch on January first, 2020. The plan is to make live broadcasts two hours a week and organize daily programs on current topics.
The public went on a three-day strike before the presidential elections on December 12th. The Algerian people are thirsty for democracy and freedom; they continue to demonstrate every Friday to demand the departure of the current government.
The Algerian authorities have closed fourteen Christian churches since the beginning of 2019, and we are still waiting for their reopening. These closed churches are organized as they can, worshipping outdoors in nature or small groups in their homes.
The Lord continues to show himself to those who do not yet know him.
Here’s a short testimony:
Diana’s a 15-year-old girl with advanced cancer. One night she had a dream where she saw the Lord Jesus. He was walking towards her and said, “It is time for you to come to me.” When she woke, she told her mom about her dream; her mom was very unbelieving. A few days later, Diana died and went to the Lord.
Diana’s mother, Hamia, called our ministry in shock to tell us what happened. Because the dream impacted her daughter’s life and gave her hope before she died, Hamia saw how this dream related to Jesus. She decided to give her life to the Lord Jesus.
We thank you for all your support and prayers for the church and us in Algeria.
