In October, the West Africa Area Director visited the ministry for the primary purpose of helping hold a Disciple Making training. This program came as an extension of the January overview training that was delivered in Dakar to some fifty participants from West, North, and East Africa, as well as the Middle East. Mali, Senegal, and Guinea are also targeted countries for the vulgarization program.
In Chad, 103 church leaders attended. One third of them were women, who were all committed, at a certain level, to evangelism and church planting.
Pastor Allahndigbaye, who coordinates missionary activities, said: “I thank the PI supporters of this training. We learned about the notions of elephant and rabbit churches. The discovery Bible Study approach for discipleship making was also welcome. I am entirely satisfied and filled with joy. I have a Master’s degree in theology but this training was very new and practical to me. It will help me to better coordinate the missionary activities in Chad. Thank you again for your concern for Chad evangelism.”
The event was also an occasion for the ministry Board to meet in an ordinary session. The Area Director also delivered training on Orality, and the two classrooms at the Bekourou School were inaugurated and dedicated.
The Kawkikete leaders request your prayers for the following:
- The follow-up from the disciple making training, that it will produce spiritual fruit in each local church.
- Pray for the missionaries in hard places as they face persecution.
- Thank God for the satisfactory holding of the Board assembly.
