Cambodian Church Planters on Fire for God

It’s been a joy in the past months to see our church planters and pastors with a greater desire to know the Word of God. They want to learn the Word better and to share what they learn with people in their villages. Jesus is more real to them than ever before. Plus they are learning how to give to the Lord as well as to River of Life Church, Cambodia ministry.

Thanks to your support which we receive through Partners International, we are able to train our leaders and to send out our 50 church planters to preach the Gospel, to plant new churches, to make disciples and to encourage existing fellowships even in the remote areas of the country.

In the past six months, we multiplied our trainings into different regions in the east, the northwest, and the western provinces. Our leaders held 20 short-term events with 148 participants, and this is on top of our one-time larger trainings in Phnom Penh! Praise God!

Another significant result of our ministry in the past six months is that our church planters in each region sent out their teams into their communities to witness the Gospel to people of various beliefs such as Buddhism, Hinduism and Animism. They worked in groups in their communities to strengthen the existing churches and to reach out to children and adults in the remote places as well. By God’s grace, 621 people put their trust in Jesus as personal Savior, 10 new churches were planted and 42 small groups were established.

Thank you for your partnership with us at River of Life Church, Cambodia. Your prayers and financial support helped to bring these people in the Kingdom!
