Breakthrough in Ghana

We are happy to report that three ministry workers (I’ll refer to them as J, G, and H) to the Fulani people have started a fellowship made up of four Fulanis, plus the church planters and their families. The fellowship meets regularly to pray for the salvation of other Fulanis and to encourage one another in the faith.

GHCO Aug Oct 2019 update Breakthrough in Ghana

This is a major breakthrough.

To us, these four new believers represent the firstfruits of the many Fulanis that the Lord of the Harvest will reap for Himself through our outreach.

Meanwhile, the Shalom Academy, the school for Fulani children established by Hada, needs support in infrastructure (i.e. additional classrooms) and more teachers to help run the school. Please pray with us for this need.

Ashanti* and Agyei* continue to engage the wider Fulani community at C* camp by visiting the chief and Islamic clerics there to share the Gospel with them. The camp needs a means of potable water. Praise God that a local partner church has committed to drill a borehole for the camp. Please pray that their efforts at drilling the borehole will become a reality soon.

We believe that these holistic outreaches (the school, the clean water, and others) will really help to soften hearts and allow these semi-nomadic pastoralists to hear the Gospel and put their faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers and financial support in this ministry.

You can help support ministry workers in the field reaching out to groups just like the Fulanis.
