Abby learned about Partners International through her church that supports the Women’s Ministry. She began volunteering on the Women’s Ministry Team the spring of 2018 and came on staff the summer of 2020. Her main job is to help the Women’s Ministry Director with day-to-day tasks, planning, and communications. Abby was very involved in church growing up and put her trust in Jesus at a young age. In addition to pastoring, her father traveled overseas, training church leaders in evangelism. Abby got to go with her father on one of these trips. “After witnessing and praying with people in Nicaragua, I had more of a passion to share the Gospel,” she said. About a year later, she met her husband and now serves alongside him as a pastor’s wife in Sagle, Idaho. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, hiking, and singing on the church worship team
Emory learned about Partners through the President & CEO Bryson Vogeltanz who also lives in Atlanta and attends the same church. Emory was raised by Christian parents who prioritized faith in Jesus and invested in the local church. He put his trust in Jesus as his Savior in second grade and started making faith a strong priority in his life. Emory and his wife knew each other in high school and married in April 2018. He is active in student ministry at his church, Passion City Church. Emory says that in his free time, “You can catch me spending time with my students, fishing, and playing tennis. My ideal weekend is spending time with my wife and dog at a local coffee shop.” He has a BA in Communication Studies from Samford University and is finishing up an MBA from the University of Georgia. His life goal is to know God and make Him known.
Kayla graduated from WSU with B.A.s in Communication and Linguistics. She also holds a Ministry degree from the International House of Prayer University in Kansas City, MO. Being a musician, she’s served on worship teams in houses of prayer and local churches. “I love supporting the global worship and prayer movement, and I’m excited to be involved in more of what the Lord is doing around the world through Partners.” When she’s not studying web development or playing music, Kayla might be reading a classic sci-fi novel or petting her cat.
