VISION: Our vision is that local ministries in the least-reached, least resourced nations will be proclaiming the Gospel to every person and building a thriving church for every people.

  • Local Ministries.
Autonomous organizations with indigenous leadership, proven effectiveness and accountability structures, who follow Jesus Christ and are focused on advancing God’s Kingdom. From our inception, Partners International held as one of our distinctive foundations that we would come along side and resource, encourage, and support the vision and God’s calling of Christian workers where we believe God is calling us to reach.
  • Least Reached and Least Resourced Nations.
Ethno-geographical areas where Christians are a very small minority (typically < 2%) and where Christians lack adequate resources; financial (typically income less than $2 USD a day), spiritual, emotional, or experiential to advance the Kingdom.
  • Will be Proclaiming.
Partners International is a proactive mission, standing by a Gospel that is holistic, and supporting local ministries that are actively and intentionally demonstrating and declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • The Gospel to Every Person.
God’s heart is for all humanity, the rule and reign of His Kingdom over all the Earth, and Jesus Christ’s redemptive work on the cross is to be proclaimed to every person for their opportunity for salvation.
  • Building a Thriving Church
Partners International understands that its work is more than a purely financial transaction, and anticipates that the result of its work will result in increasing fruit and a stronger, expanding church centered on groups of disciples gathered together regularly for worship, nurturing, and outreach.
  • For Every People.
The Gospel should be available to every person, and the Church should impact every ethno-linguistic people group.

MISSION: Building the Church in the least reached places by partnering with indigenous ministries and connecting followers of Christ.

  • Building the Church.
The Church is all of Christ followers globally, and the Church belongs to God Himself. “Building” the Church encompasses more than the churches being planted among the least reached and least resourced nations. “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” Ephesian 4:15-16
  • Partnering.
A trusting relationship with agreed upon expectations and the sharing of complementary strengths and resources to reach a mutual goal.
  • Indigenous Ministries.
Local organizations of Christians focused on advancing God’s Kingdom with a specific standard of internal organization, leadership, and local identity and/or registration. If from another location, are similar enough that they have an advantage in understanding, effectiveness, and being accepted in the local language and culture.
  • Connecting Followers of Christ.
Facilitating collaboration among Kingdom minded Christians in the sharing of resources across the various geographies where Partners International works. Partners International serves the Church in the USA and other countries, helping Christians fulfill their calling to God’s mission to build the Church.

COMING ALONGSIDE

  • We identify high-impact, native Christian ministries and partner with them in accountable, trusting partnerships to advance God’s Kingdom in the least Christian regions of the world. We believe in accountability without control and are committed to what we call “Servant Partnership.”

MORE THAN AN ATM

  • We go far beyond providing just financial resources. We foster ministries’ growth through training, leadership development, planning, and ongoing counsel that helps our partners become successful, sustainable organizations that are transforming their communities and nations for Christ.

A HOLISTIC APPROACH

  • We have found that reaching people with the Gospel message in the least reached places is most effective when physical needs are met. Our key strategy to impact lives is holistic witness, which means reaching out to the “whole” person. We address physical, spiritual, and socio-economic concerns with the Gospel message of hope.

A MINISTRY WITH LONGEVITY

  • Over our 70 years of history, Partners International has established an International Partnership Alliance made up of affiliate offices in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Singapore. Together we work in 58 nations in partnership with more than 110 indigenous Christian ministries. We share a common commitment to furthering the work of indigenous ministries and a common goal to establish and grow God’s Kingdom.
