One of the highlights of this year (2018) was that many friends from other faith community attended the Christmas program. Pray that the Lord would continue to help them and their families as they seek the truth.
We not only had many programs this Christmas season but we also got the opportunity to listen to some heart touching testimonies.
Sekem shared his testimony:
I was born in an impoverished family, my parents had a lot of misunderstands between each other and ended up splitting up. They stopped caring for me, and I was placed in an orphanage.
During my time in the orphanage, I accepted the Lord as my personal savior and dedicated my life to Him. Because of my financial situation and lack of guidance I was not able to continue my studies after 12th grade.
I did ministry on my own and later found out about Bible Faith Mission, and joined their ministry. The Archbishop motivated and encouraged me to pursue my education. I completed my Bachelor’s degree and then finished my Masters in Christian Studies. I then proceeded to take the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), and I got a Junior Research Fellowship – which ensures the minimum standard for the entrants in teaching professions and research. Most recently followed by completing my doctorate, and in the last month, I was awarded Ph.D.
I am now working as a Pastor in Bible Faith Mission Church as well as working as a guest lecturer in the same university where I received my degrees. I believe people should be given proper education and they need to know the truth that is Jesus and invite Him as the Lord and Savior into their hearts.
