Growing the Church in Cambodia

Baptism in Cambodia’s West Region.

Each week, church planters with River of Life church, Cambodia, go out by Regions into their communities to witness the Gospel to the people of various beliefs such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Animism and local traditions. The church planters work in groups to help strengthen existing churches in the districts in their communities. They do outreach in the remote places as well.

Last year alone, 1,500 people put their trust in Jesus through the ministry of our church planters. They started 18 new churches and established 65 new small groups.

Our church in the western region near the Thai border has been doing outreach through a monthly children’s feeding program. The people there are very poor. We teach the children personal hygiene, distribute clothing and witness of God’s love through Jesus Christ in these poor rural areas.

A number of people accepted the Lord during one event, and a cell group was formed. Once the cell group is established in this new location, our church planters continue to teach the Word, and encourage and strengthen the new believers.

All the while, the church planters are looking for a potential Christian leader they can train to assume responsibility for the new cell group. The church planters will continue to oversee and encourage the cell group until it becomes a full functioning church.

Your prayers and financial gifts for these church planters is greatly appreciated. Their fruit is your fruit!
