Hello from India!

As you can see from our PIW Facebook photo album, we are experiencing much of the Indian culture in both urban and rural settings. We are now in Hyderabad and continue to be amazed by the way God is at work through His people here!

The Women's Cycle of Life health training is being applauded by the Indian women leaders. They said, "This training is excellent. It provides practical tools to help women and to reach out to them with the Gospel. Gone are the days when we could use Gospel tracts and the Jesus video. This training will help us to build relationships instead."

The Foundations of Biblical Counseling training is heartwarming while providing necessary tools to serve others! The next two days will cover marriage and family and trauma counseling.

We have the unexpected blessing of teaching Women in the Window to 12 young women and their master trainer. Most of them are orphans but all are adopted into God's family! They have chosen two stories to study and teach: Ruth and Dorcas. They will carry this training back to an area of high persecution in India to share with street children and women in need.

Prayer requests for the PIW team:

  • Health! Several team members are battling illness.
  • Krystal Kerr, Kim's daughter, had emergency gall bladder surgery yesterday. Please pray for a full and speedy recovery with no side effects!
  • As we continue here and in Bangladesh later this week and next, please pray for our energy, enthusiasm, and effectiveness. Pray that not one moment will be wasted, and that Christ will be pleased and glorified in and through us.

We thank you, Lord, for this amazing and rewarding time with our sisters and brothers in India! We love you, Lord. Amen!

With love,
Kim and the PIW team
