Our world is forever changed, now that we've seen it through the eyes of a Bengali girl.
(Oasis Bangladesh)

Thank you so very much for your faithful prayers for our South Asia PIW team. We have many praises to share with you, starting with the following:

Praises:

We requested prayer for enthusiasm, effectiveness, and endurance and God so abundantly answered.

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:3).

Each encounter, whether in the village, slum, city, or training session, has changed our lives forever. We only pray that Christ's imprint through our teaching and time together will also increase our partners' faith and strengthen their ministries!

"For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours" (Romans 1:11-12).

Cari, Jennifer, Jennifer, Judy, and Linda from New Song Church are safely home in Sand Point, Idaho.

Ila, Michelle, Rachel, and Dave have also returned safely to their homes in the Southeast U.S.

Teresa and Kim En Route:

Teresa and Kim are en route and definitely need your prayers. They are now scheduled to return home quite late Wednesday evening! They look forward to sharing the amazing ways our ministry partners are at work throughout Bangladesh in the coming days and weeks. Kim's daughter, Krystal, is recovering from last week's gall bladder surgery and complications. Please do pray for a full and complete recovery and for God's favor.

First Baptist Sand Point Team Remains in Bangladesh:

The First Baptist Sand Point ladies, Cathy, Mary, Jeanie, and Angie, are spending one more week in Bangladesh. Here are some prayer points from them:

"Our time here is wonderful. The countryside is beautiful, lots of small villages and tons of brick factories. The mission complex is very nice and feels very secure. We are quite comfortable.

"We have been helping in the school every day. It has been a true joy. The level of education in English surpasses that at home. They actually work on penmanship -- can you imagine?

"Jeanie has been able to spend time in the hospital. She attended several surgeries and even was present at a birth. There are over 300 babies delivered each year and those are mostly ones where a problem can be expected. She goes back tomorrow and sees a couple of cleft-palette operations.

"We are well taken care of except for the lack of reliable hot water (but that is a very small problem). Please pray that we finish well, travel safely, and arrive without too much exhaustion. Cathy is scheduled to work Monday after arriving home later which can be a stretch. I think she is trying to change that. Pray for sensitivity to the Lord's prompting. Pray for two women hospitalized here with very major health issues."

Again, we are grateful for God's blessing in our lives and this ministry committed to serving women and children in the hard places, replacing poverty and injustice with dignity and purpose in Christ!

With love,
Kim and the PIW team
