We left India today at 6:30 a.m. and arrived at our guesthouse in Bangladesh at 8:30 p.m., mostly due to extreme traffic. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims are arriving from around the world for a weekend Hajj, second only to Mecca! God knew...even if we didn't!

Praises:

Everyone on the team is healthy again.

Closing ceremonies of the health (Ila Swick) and counseling (Dr. David Carson) seminars in Hyderabad were a tremendous encouragement to all! Testimonies from participants indicated they were most grateful for these tools.

Young women trainees from Orissa performed a drama, song, and dance from Women in the Window. Their commitment to follow Christ in spite of personal sacrifice is quite humbling and challenging to our American team.

Cathy, Mary, Angie, Jeannie, David, Teresa, Kim, and Prem arrived safely in Bangladesh today with all of their luggage. They will visit Oasis Bangladesh tomorrow.

Prayer Requests:

Dr. Carson will lead a counseling seminar all day Friday and Saturday. Kim and Teresa will lead a Women in the Window seminar on Saturday. Pray for God's blessing on all who lead and participate.

We ask that our Lord will grant enthusiasm, energy, and great effectiveness to all of us until the very end of this transformational journey!

Special Prayer Requests:

Complete healing for Krystal Kerr, Kim's daughter, as they continue tests and hospitalization for possible complications following her gall bladder surgery earlier this week.

Dhaka, Bangladesh will be the host city for a Muslim Hajj this weekend with more than 100,000 Muslims from around the world attending.

Travel Prayer Requests:

Ila, Michelle, and Rachel will fly home to the USA on Friday.

Newsong Bible Church team will fly home on Saturday.

First Baptist Church Sandpoint team will connect with ministry partners via an 8-hour train ride here in Bangladesh.

Prem, David, Teresa, and Kim will begin traveling home on Monday and will arrive home on Tuesday (with the exception of Prem to Bangalore).

"For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16).

Thank you and good night from Dhaka as the horns blare out the window and our hearts long to see Christ reign in this place...

With love,
Kim and the PIW team
