God continues to open doors for our partner Group C’s work among 25 ethnic minorities, particularly in North Vietnam. So far this year, more than 5,000 people from these ethnic groups have come to faith in Christ through the witness of Group C’s church planters and lay evangelists.
The ethnic tribes live in the remote mountain areas, which isolates believers from ministry training opportunities. With your support through Partners, Group C opens training classes in these areas so that both new believers and long-time Christians can gather for theological studies, ministry skill development, and fellowship.
“This is an opportunity for them to share their experiences and learn from each other,” said Group C’s leader Pastor Daniel. “Through the studying process, the workers can connect to each other and begin working together. The fire of evangelism is burning in the local churches due to these classes.”
Currently, Group C is training 300 new workers in 11 regions of Vietnam. One trainee shares below how the training has impacted his life and ministry.
“Being prepared in the Word of God helps me so much in my ministry, but an important thing is that my faith, ministry, and character developed as well. Most people in our church are from the H’re ethnic group and live in the mountains of central Vietnam. Their lives are ones of hardship, but their faith is so steady and wonderful. Their knowledge may be narrow, but they never change their faith even though they have had to face many hardships. It is difficult for them to go to the city to participate in the training courses. Thank you for sending teachers to help the local workers. If the training course had been held in the city, only a few workers could have participated.”
Pastor Daniel said his team will continue to promote the training and equipping of workers because “we know enthusiasm, dedication, and sacrifice are not enough. Our work must be built on a foundation of God’s Word, otherwise our results will not last.”
