As a member of the Partnership Alliance, we partner with 121 indigenous Christian ministries in 58 countries. our partners are working among 343 people groups; 239 of which are considered unreached or least reached.
Partners International's people group information is based on the Joshua Project II criterion. According to Joshua Project II least reached peoples are people groups that contain less than 2 percent evangelicals and less than 5 percent Christian Adherents. For more information on how JPII classifies people groups and least reached groups visit www.joshuaproject.net.
Some Examples:
We partner with Vision Indonesia 1:1:1, a ministry that trains church planters through a national network of seminaries. One graduation requirement is that each student plant a church. To date our partnership has resulted in more than 4,000 churches!
In another partnership, more than 20 years ago, we invested in the vision of a small group of Arab believers to reach their countrymen with the Gospel. Today this group, Arab World Evangelical Ministers' Association (AWEMA), is the broadest movement of evangelical Arab Christians in the world.
When a young ministry endeavored to reach all the Muslim people groups of Indonesia (the most populous Muslim nation in the world), we eagerly invested in their work. Today, our partner Cahaya Suku is one of the most successful Muslim church-planting ministries in Indonesia.
