Results in 2009
We measure our ministry results by the following:
- Lives: won to Christ and discipled
- Leaders: identified, trained, and mentored
- Churches: planted, growing, and reproducing
- Communities: transformed by kingdom values
Our results in 2009 include:
- 55,000 New Believers
- 16,780 Leaders Trained
- 1,120 Churches Planted
- 274,990 People helped by holistic community development
As a member of the Partnership Alliance, we partner with 121 indigenous Christian ministries in 58 countries.
Our partners are working among 673 people groups; 456 of which are considered unreached or least reached.
Partners International's people group information is based on the Joshua Project II criterion. According to Joshua Project II least reached peoples are people groups that contain less than 2 percent evangelicals and less than 5 percent Christian Adherents. For more information on how JPII classifies people groups and least reached groups visit www.joshuaproject.net.
Some Examples:
- We partner with a ministry in Indonesia that trains church planters through a national network of seminaries. One graduation requirement is that each student plant a church. Today our partnership has resulted in more than 3,400 churches!
- In another partnership, we invested in the vision of an Indian evangelist. Today he has a daily radio program heard by millions, and graduates of his Bible institute have started 2,300 churches.
- When a former soldier in Iraq's army became a Christian, God gave him a vision to reach the Kurdish people of Iraq. Together with Partners International and a network of other partners, the ministry now has three primary schools, a publishing center, five bookstores, a ministry to women, and radio programs.
